Modern State Essay Instructions (20 Points):
Order of letters:
D and G go in in the Intro (one is the plan of attack, the other is the thesis)
F, A, E, B, H are topic sentences in the body of the essay
C introduces the conclusion
--Treat this like a regular essay.
--Each body paragraph should include concrete examples of the use of lawmaking, the military, and the bureaucracy in each state.
--Your conclusion is an opportunity to reiterate your main argument, bring in something new, and look ahead to the future.
